HAP (High Acuity Patient) Division
HIGH ACUITY PATIENT (HAP) DIVISION
At Quality Dialysis, our High Acuity Patient (HAP) Division is specifically designed to support individuals with serious medical conditions and complex comorbidities who require long-term, specialized dialysis care. These patients often face multiple chronic illnesses and require a higher level of medical oversight than traditional outpatient dialysis provides.
The HAP Division offers staff-assisted home dialysis for medically fragile patients under the direct supervision of board-certified Nephrologists and performed by highly trained, licensed dialysis nurses. Our goal is to deliver consistent, compassionate dialysis care in the comfort of home, especially for patients whose primary caregivers are family members without additional support resources.
This model provides a life-sustaining solution for individuals who are not candidates for traditional in-center dialysis due to their clinical complexity, mobility limitations, or ongoing care needs.
